CONCERNS - 10TH EXAM ARRANGEMENTS

The teachers and school heads have been advised by the School Education Department to get prepared for conducting the 10th examinations starting with effect from 1st June 2020.

A discussion via video conferencing has taken place between Chief Educational Officials of the Districts and Directors of the Education Department.  CEOs have sent circulars to school teachers that the teachers are available in the same district as their schools from 18th of May 2020.  They have to put in all efforts to get exam centres ready.  School Head Masters will enumerate number of students, class rooms and the furnitures are suitably in place since only 10 students per class room should take up the examinations, keeping in mind the physical distance in accordance with regulations to control spread of coronavirus.

In some of the districts students can take up the exams in their own schools as per the advise of the Chief Educational Officials.  Accordingly, new hall tickers will be issued to such students.  Necessary bus facilities are in place for students to travel to examination centres as ordered by the Education Minister.  A list with copies showing details of students who need transport have to be cross verified between the school authorities. Necessary e-passes for students to travel to other districts are to reach the students well in time at their houses.

Despite issue of transport a conern, let us wish the students all the best.
