The Civil Aviation Ministry is of the view to start international commercial flights from mid June 2020 provided the situation improves and the spread of coronavirus is contained.
The Union Minister Mr Hardeep Singh Puri has advised the State Governments to look into passenger problems in reaching Airport by also advising continuous lockdown would not be a better answer. The Minister stressed if the lockdown is effective day X, it requires two days for the US keeping mind the Air India flights could come back. Let us not wait till August or September if the situation improves and get into the slot of getting used to the idea to co-exist with virus and arrangements made accordingly.
Let us hope coronavirus subsides so that flight operations are smooth which will be beneficial to each and everyone.
