The passengers who arrive at Chennai airport without e pass can avail the same among the counters opened at the arrival hall set up by the State Government.
Five counters will issue 150 nos e pass on a day on an average basis. Nearly 1000 e passes have been issued apart from the assistance from the staff who provide guidance on other queries raised by the passengers. The passengers can come out of any hurdles with the help desk. The counters are likely to go up depending upon the arrival of passengers at the airport in the coming weeks.
The facility will help the passengers greatly who plan at the last minute to rush to Chennai. This will help people who are an emergency trip such as attending funerals and do not have the time to reach the portal. A quick clearance is made possible in this way for the convenience of passengers.
A word of appreciation will not be out of the place to mention for the service being provided by the state government. The staff here are working untiringly and ensure every need of the help is attended to by them quickly.
