Six people from Armed Reserve Police were given warm welcome when they joined duty after successfully fighting coronavirus disease. Big band music in the presence of Commissioner of Police and other senior police officers was a pleasant sight and certificate of appreciation were handed over to the returnees.
Additional Commissioner of Police, Deputy Commissioner and other officers of more than 300 in number were tested positive for coronavirus. More than 100 people recovered and discharged fromm Hospitals. The city police have since joined duty. Out of 123 recovered Armed Reserve Police, 62 have returned for duty. The frontline workers such as police, medical staff and health workers of Corporation have been doing untiring work in controlling the spread of COVID-10 pandemic.
The Reception of this kind will boost the morale of the workers and encourage them in continued efforts.
