TIRUMALA TEMPLE OPEN FOR PUBLIC

The historic temple was opened on Monday with trial run for the public.  The temple was strictly out of bounds for all due to the controlling effects in spreading of COVID-19 pandemic.  The temple was opened after 80 days without any compromise for the true rituals on daily basis.  As usual like in other relaxations, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams have restrictions in place, the initial effects being employees families allowed for first two days and local denizens for the third day.  This is with a view to make corrections, if any, for the general public after three days.  As in other relaxations, masks and social distancing are the prime factor to be followed and the permission is only for main temple complex.  The devotees have to compulsorily use herbal sanitiser before and after hundi offerings and do not touch it.  The temple staff, volunteers and other related people are to be provided with PPE who would come into contact with the devotees.

The Chairman of TTD Mr Y V Subba Reddy was very much satisfied with the arrangements which would help in a long way for darshan of devotees.  In order to get the ground level report, the trial run was necessitated as per the view of the Chairman.  The increase in allowing the number of devotees is very much on the cards after three days of trial run.
