ASST PROFESSOR SELLING MURUKKU

How wonder a person leading a decent life in the teaching profession and suddenly his white collar job was thrown in the air, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic doing widespread damages in many angles.

A professor and head of the department in Computer Science employed in private engineering college in Coimbatore.  As all the institutions have been closed indefinitely due to the spread of coronavirus, the Management of this engineering college shown the door to Mr Maheshwaran and a few other faculties.  He involved in preparing and selling murukku in the family available outlet in Neyveli.  He has the responsibility of taking care of his own family and aged parents.

While he is already an M E graduate apart from his wife a post graduate in physics, getting a job for any of them is a nightmare, being breadwinners.  When he approached his college management, they wanted him to bring in three new students for the next academic year before joining back.
MURUKKU
The portions to be covered for the semester have been completed as far back as February and can rejoin by bringing in three new students.

Already reeling under lockdown and no job, it was a difficult path to earn.  He laments that it was not the job of the professor to bring students for admission and decided to turn to any other opportunities.

The quality of the murukku being sold is of a good quality and some sort of income derived out of it.  Simultaneously, efforts are on for him to get a teaching job.
