In a cinema, there is a lot of factors play key role that brings laurels and grand success as a good entertainer. To name a few, the story, direction, production, comedy, hero/heroine acting, lyrics, etc.. The choreography in Hindi films by the veteran Saroj Khan produced many successful hindi movies also starring celebrity actors. Saroj Khan breathed her last on 3rd July due to cardiac failure. Earlier, she had complained breathing trouble. She was one among many dominating the field and played an important role in driving forward the generations of female actors joining them in the dance sequences. The attractive dancing with Late Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit give results of unprecedented familiarity is an example of rousing choreography.
She had been a child artist from the age of three and gradually developed to background dancer overlapping the movement of lead actors. Born in Pakistan and migrated to Mumbai later becoming first woman choreographer in the hindi cinema. Many hit songs were the resultant of her choreography which paved way for receiving her first National Award. Celebrity actors expressed condolences also mentioning about joining their path towards the success world. It will not be out of place to mention that she choreographed also to actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shar Rukh Khan and Hema Malini.
A direcor mentioned about her solo dance upon completion of entire shooting in a song sequence. The art to the dancing style was a class of its own. In her dance, the emotions of the song were highlighted apart from champion like efforts contributing to the characterisation.
Saroj Khan had also performed the duty of judges in many shows during the final era of her choreographic kingdom.
