PLASMA DONORS MAY GET JOBS

In the present scenario of COVID-19 pandemic, spreading of disease is uncontrollable specifically in countries like USA, Russia and India, to name a few.  In order to keep trying methods and improvise the efforts, some states in India indulged in identifying plasma donors from the recovered patients .  These are being tested on the existing corona affected people and the resultant effect seems to be satisfactory.  Under the circumstances, a unique method has been adopted by the state of Assam who offer jobs and government schemes as a fine gesture for those who co-operate for plasma system.  The Assam ministry offer attractive marks for their interviews.

The plasma donor gets two extra marks in case of a tie and also a certificate in a test or in an interview.  Under the Pradhan Mantri scheme, the beneficiary name at the bottom will be put on top if he or she recovered from the virus and donate plasma.

Based on the observations, it has no negative impacts on the patients and most of them recover if the state of illness is moderate.  The donor has to be an intensive care patient who had COVID-19 symptoms and could save two lives.  It has been a wise decision by the Assam government as prospects are high in setting up a plasma tank.  Another attractive scheme by the Assam government is that they offer guest house facilities for visiting people from other states who have donated plasma besides offering them a return flight ticket.
