The registration of coronavirus cases continuously on the increase and there is no signs of it gets arrested. Over 50,000 cases have been recorded in India for consecutive five days. India recorded over 18 lakhs cases in total and 52,972 cases have been reported on a single day.
The recovery was over 11,80,000 which includes 40,574 in the past 24 hours. Corona infected active cases are upto 5,79,357 with 65.76% as recovery rate. Today is the fifth continuous day with over 50,000. 771 patients died in the past 24 hours with a total figure of 38,135. More than two crores samples have been tested and 3,81,027 samples figure on a single day.
The Governments in the centre, states and union territories implement strategies in tandom with selfless sacrifice of frontline health workers ensured rising recovery. The gap between recoveries and active cases continues to go up.
Coronavirus cases reached 1.8 crores and deaths upto 6.88 lakhs globally. India occupies the third position in the world in terms of cases.
The lockdown strategy going up due to COVID-19 pandemic adding a million infections every four days across the world. The pandemic goes to US rural and urban areas as the infection is in a new phase. The human clinical trials under phases 2 and 3 by Oxford University developed COVID-19 vaccine candidate in the country. A formal clearance by the Drug Controller General of India has been given.
Our true expectation is to have the pandemic end soon in order to return to normalcy.
