The spread of coronavirus goes uncontrollable day by day putting the health officials in a very tight situation and they have been seriously looking out a solution by way of a vaccine which could bring an end to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Bharti Vidyapeeth's Medical College and Hospital in Pune is the place where phase II clinical trial of the Oxford covid vaccine has started two days ago.  While there is no side effect seen as some more volunteers got Covisheld, five more volunteers given the vaccine on Thursday.  Two volunteers aged 48 and 32 were administered a shot of the Covieshield vaccine.  The 48 old person is a doctor while the other is a PhD holder in statistics and employed in a private organisation.

The medical team from the hospital are in touch with these people and they are doing fine.  They have noticed no pain, no fever and no side reaction to the injection.  None of the systemic illness have also been reported.  A repeat course will be administered on both after one month's time.

The vaccine manufacture M/s Serum Institute of India in collaboration with M/s AstraZeneca being a British-Swedish pharma company are manufacturing covid vaccines developed by Oxford University.

About 100 volunteers are expected to be administered phase 2 trial of Oxford covid vaccine and about 1,500 people will face the potent vaccine from the country in next phase based on the results of phase II trials already carried out.
