IT'S FREE, FREE - NEET EXAM 2020 ASPIRANTS IN ODISHA




An important step for the medical aspirants to enter the institutions is at their doors when they take up NEET 2020 exams scheduled for tomorrow all over India.  Nearly 337,500 students will appear for the exam tomorrow in Odisha in 83 centres covering seven cities of the state.

The Odisha Government has decided to provide free transportation and accommodation to the aspirants who are scheduled to write the exam on 13th September 2020 amid COVID-19 pandemic.  Elaborate arrangements have been made for candidates appearing for the examination in 83 centres.  The candidates and their guardians will avail the free facility offer by the government according to a NEET state nodal officer.

State-run buses will be operated and available for use and free movement of candidates with their guardians from various districts to the examination centres.  The timing will be between 11 am and 5 pm and will meet strict norms to maintain healthy protocols in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus..  Thermal screening for students is made mandatory before entering the centres in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Angul, Berhampur, Rourkela, Balasore and Sambalpur.

Railway authorities coming under East Coast Railway will run special trains for the NEET aspirants.  The trains will be from Khariar Road to Sambalpur via Titiagarh, Rayagada to Sambalpur, Bhadrak to Bhuvaneswar via Cuttack.  The accommodation for candidates and their parents has been arranged in five engineering colleges coming under Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.  Medical teams will also be made available at the colleges where students and their guardians will stay in connection with the examination.
