RECORDS TUMBLING - CORONAVIRUS IN INDIA

 


Coronavirus warriors in India await in testing centres and hospitals with PPE kits put on, for collection of samples for COVID-19  sacrificing their whole life and devote their whole time in the hospitals.

India registers a whopping 86,432 cases on a given single day and the cumulative cases crossing 40 lakhs mark with no vicinity of an end.  By registering 1,089 deaths in the last 24 hours, the cumulative death toll reached a high mark of 69,561 patients.  The active cases stand at 8,46,395 while more than 31 lakhs people, after treatment, cured, discharged from various hospitals.

Maharashtra reaches the high mark of 2,11,325 cases followed by Andhra Pradesh recording cases upto 1,02,067.    The ICMR explains that over 10.59 lakhs have been tested for the pathogen on 4th of September 2020 and 4.77 crores samples have been tested hitherto.

India's case fatality rate stands at 1.74% followed by a steady and sustained decline in the figure.  The Health department advises the public to maintain physical distancing, wear mask upon coming out of the house and help the department in not spreading the disease to others around.
