New cases are being continuously registered in places of Telengana, Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh. Telengana records new cases of corona infection to 2,214 and the total reads 1,93,600. The death toll also read upto 1,135. Andhra Pradesh croses seven lakh corona virus cases while the spread is considered as declining trend. While 14 days needed for the state to add one lakh cases from six to seven whereas the previous four lakhs cases came in a ten day span each.
While cases of infection and treatment are happening continously, the Telengana State Election Commission is trying for e voting for the elections to Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. If it happens, it will be the first such mode of voting in the country. The Face Recognition Technology will come into play at one polling booth each in all 150 divisions of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
