GOLDEN CHARIOT IS BACK - TRAIN BY IRCTC

 



People might experience various kinds of amenities while travelling in the trains for longer journeys which make everybody comfortable thus travellers utilise the opportunities and keep travelling often.  The Golden Chariot train which was earlier run in the Karnataka area is all set to hit the tracks from January 2021.  With 18 coaches already in place, the facility provide 44 guest rooms with each of the cabins equipped with a small wardrobe, vanity desk, LCD tv, electric sockets for battery recharge with a private washroom.  The tours organised by IRCTC will start from Bengaluru by covering places in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala and then return to Bengaluru.  

A package of Karnataka will include 6 night and 7 day itinerary covering visits to Bandipur National Park, Mysore, Halebid, chikmangalur, Aihole, Pattadakal, Hampi and Goa.

A proud package of Jewels of South with similar package covers Mysore, Hampi, Mahabalipuram, Thanjavur, Chettinad, Kumarakom and Kochi.  

Considered as an exclusive luxury train of South India, the suspension came earlier by Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation as a result of running with heavy losses.  The operations carried out in 2008 was a joint initiative by the Karnataka Government and the Ministry of Railways.  Apart from the Golden Chariot train, IRCTC additionally operates Maharajas' Express luxury train which is very popular in the running.
