RECOVERIES ARE GOOD - KARNATAKA COVID-19

 


It is gratifying to note that coronavirus cases recovery continues to be in a satisfactory level in Karnataka for 8th consecutive day.  Based on the report from the Health Department, out of more than one lakh active cases, close to 99,500 patients are in isolation at various hospitals and are stable.  More than 900 patients are receiving treatments in ICU.

Considering RT-PCR tests, the same stood at 80% from the total samples tested in the last 24 hours.  Yesterday, nearly 6,000 new affected cases and 88 deaths have taken place in the state thus a cumulative of 7.83 lacs of infected cases and 0.11 lac deaths.  Over 9,000 patients have been discharged after due recovery from various hospitals.  Bengaluru urban reports 2,717 cases out of 5,872 cases in the state.

The Bengaluru urban districts continue to record new cases while at the same time the recovery in the region is also encouragingly high.  With a view to contain the new cases, health department concentrates in awareness campaign, behaviour by public in the common places, usage of masks and maintain social distancing methods which need to be followed strictly.
