The JEE Main 2020 examination for students to take up higher studies in IIT has been fixed between1-6 September 2020.
The increase in coronavirus cases is unstoppable on daily basis making life vulnerable. The students who are scheduled to write this examination are very much concerned about their health. A request sent to HRD Minister to have the examination posponed due to surge in cases with every passing day.
The National Testing Agency has not made any announcement. The students tweeted with hastags mentioning "Health over exams" and postpone "JEE 2020". The students have been advised to keep preparing the examination. Students have to follow the instructions at the exam centres provided by invigilators, such as phase entry, frisking and line formation. Social distancing to be followed, do not touch any things and wear masks and hand gloves.
Students are allowed to enter the centre in a phased manner with different slots. Entry allowed one by one by maintaining physical distance. The seats are provided with suitable distance and students have to wear face masks and gloves during the exam. The exam centres will be barricaded for overcrowding.
In the meanwhile, students requested for postponement of exam due to increase in coronavirus cases and a discussions was going on. The National Testing Agency will come out with a final decision shortly.
Let's wait and hope even if the exam takes place, the safety of students are well maintained.
