The rampaging coronavirus goes all over the world, the latest one being a Secretariat office in Uttarkhand. Four people including a secretary and a joint secretary tested positive for coronavirus and eight departments sealed as a result. The total cases of coronavirus has crossed 25,000 mark yesterday. The health, agriculture and horticulture departments have been closed among the eight departments. Monday marked an increse of 807 cases with seven deaths. While 77 people have migrated to different places from the state, 7,965 cases are active.
Doctors have decided to withdraw their agitations upon an assurance from the Chief Minister that their demands will be considered. The doctors delegation will get support from the state government and their demands will be seriously considered. The doctors have been hailed by the chief minister for their untiring support in battling the COVID-19 pandemic. The doctors sangh have withdrew their agitation based on the assurances from the chief minister.
Doctors have agitated in support of 'no one day pay cut' and wanted full salary to PG doctors like how other fraternity are considered.
